Hygiene

Hygiene on your dance lesson

Personal hygiene is especially essential when you dance a partner dance. Regardless whether it is a man or a woman, beginner or experienced dancer, your dance partner should feel comfortable to dance with you. Here are a couple of suggestions on how to keep good hygiene on a dance lesson or dance social:

1) If you tend to perspire, bring a change of shirt and a small hand towel.

2) Avoid strong perfumes or colognes, as it can irritate some people.

3) Make sure you have fresh breath (having mints at hand can help).

4) Wear clean, neat clothes.

5) Use deodorant.

Following those rules will allow your dance partner and yourself feel comfortable on a dance floor.
