HISTORY

Brazilian Zouk is a sensual social partner dance that was born in Brazil where it developed from the lambada dance style. Brazilian Zouk uses a modified, slower, smoother, even more sensual version of the lambada and is typically danced to the Zouk style music. It is mainly danced in Brazil, Russia, Australia, The Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, Finland, and some other European countries.

You will find more information about Brazilian Zouk, its history, styles and count in our booklet at our dance studio.
